Overview
Clare Studio is an interior design brand website concept created by SimpleCreative. It uses a fictional brand to demonstrate how a home page, portfolio, case pages, service process, about page, articles, and contact page combine into a design practice website that can be maintained over years. The brand, projects, floor areas, schedules, locations, and contact details are concept settings, not any real studio’s information.
Paper-toned neutrals, low-saturation wood, and Mincho headings set a quiet, considered tone. No client-supplied assets appear anywhere: all 51 photographs come from the Pexels free commercial library and are recorded individually. Every consultation entry first explains that this is a website-production showcase, then leads to SimpleCreative’s official LINE channel.
Challenge
Interior design persuades almost entirely through built work. With no real projects available, this concept had to demonstrate credibility through content structure, narrative, and layout discipline instead.
A large portfolio easily collapses into an undifferentiated wall of thumbnails. Filtering, a horizontal works rail, load-more paging, and chaptered case pages were needed to carry a visitor to the last project.
The more convincing a concept site is, the more easily it is mistaken for a real practice. The disclosure had to be permanent and unambiguous without breaking the visual quality or reading rhythm.
Solution
An off-white ground, Mincho headings, hairline rules, and generous whitespace form the base; motion stays slow and restrained, and honours prefers-reduced-motion throughout.
A scroll-driven horizontal rail for scanning on the home page, a filterable grid for choosing on the portfolio page, and a case page that tells one project fully through specs, chapters, materials, and a gallery.
A permanent dark bar sits above the navigation and shifts the whole layout by its measured height; listings and case pages carry fictional-content notes, the about page counts the demonstration itself rather than achievements, and the footer states who made the site and why.
Navigation, CTA bands, the service page, case pages, the footer, and the contact form all open the same dialog. It explains that this is a SimpleCreative showcase before offering a free consultation via LINE, and appears once on its own after 45 seconds of dwell time.
Highlights
Three interior photographs cross-fade slowly behind a vertical statement and a summary of services.
Residential and commercial filtering, load-more paging, and a scroll-driven rail give three ways to browse the work.
A spec table, overview, five to six narrative chapters, key materials, and a gallery show how completely a single project can be told.
A five-stage process, brand philosophy, an articles section, and a news list demonstrate a long-term content structure.
Every call to action opens the same dialog, which also appears once on its own after 45 seconds — never more than once per visit.
A standing notice, fictional-content statements, noindex and robots disallow, plus a per-file licence record for all 51 photographs.
Outcome
This is a SimpleCreative concept showcase for the visual, content, and consultation planning of an interior design brand website. It does not represent a real studio or client commission and makes no claims about project volume, conversion, or revenue results.
