Overview

Overview

SimpleTraining is a SaaS product we built independently from the ground up, designed for personal trainers and their clients. Trainers create workout plans and track client training data on the platform; clients check their programs anytime and log their results, extending coaching beyond the session itself.

The project covers the full lifecycle of a SaaS product: requirements definition, data modeling, interface design, subscription payments, multi-tenant architecture, and admin tooling — all delivered independently. It's the clearest proof of our end-to-end capability for custom system development.

Challenge

The Challenge

01

Multi-tenant data isolation

Each trainer operates like an independent studio: client data, programs, and logs must be strictly isolated while sharing one codebase and architecture.

02

Two very different user roles

One platform serves two distinct workflows — trainers programming and managing, clients viewing and logging. Both experiences had to feel intuitive on their own terms.

03

Structuring training data

Sets, reps, load, perceived effort — training variables are many and messy. The data model had to stay flexible while supporting long-term analytics.

04

Subscription payments

The platform runs on subscriptions, requiring payment gateway integration plus plan management and payment-status synchronization.

Solution

The Solution

Full-stack Next.js architecture

Built with Next.js and TypeScript, sharing type definitions across the stack; PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM keeps development fast and data consistent.

Role-centered interface design

The trainer side focuses on programming and client overviews; the client side on today's workout and history. Each role gets a lean, purposeful flow.

Modular programming system

Programs are modeled as 'training day → exercise → sets,' letting trainers copy and adapt templates and dramatically cutting weekly programming time.

Complete admin tooling

A platform admin dashboard manages tenants, subscriptions, and usage — the foundation for long-term operations.

Highlights

Highlights

01

Workout plan management

Trainers build, copy, and adjust programs quickly, tailoring weekly training to each client.

02

Training logs

Clients log weight and reps set by set, with completion status at a glance and full history preserved.

03

Data tracking

Training volume and progress trends visualized in charts — making coaching results visible.

04

Multi-tenant architecture

Every trainer gets an isolated data space, with security and separation enforced at the system level.

05

Subscription billing

Integrated payment gateway supporting subscription plans and payment-status management.

06

Admin dashboard

A complete operations backend for tenants, subscriptions, and platform usage.

Outcome

The Outcome

If you're considering a booking system, membership platform, or any custom system, SimpleTraining is a working demonstration of what we deliver end to end — from product planning to a live, operating service.
